My father will vehemently refuse to purchase any wine that is over 13% ABV as he states that wine cannot take heavy alcohol. However I disagree. Alcohol and wine can be big and voluptuous if the varietal can take the weight. For me pinot noir is an example of a varietal that anything past 13.5% its structure cannot contain the alcohol without killing the fruit, think Central Otago pinot.more

A huge thank to all that attended in record breaking numbers our Trade Tasting. These events always take a huge amount of organising but what a delight for us to hold at 67 Pall Mall with their experts who guided and helped us throughout the day. The wines showed well and we had some awesome feedback.more
