Champagne, France
back to the listing
Georges is the third generation of his family to own and manage the vineyard, however the land has been cultivated by the Vesselle family since the 16th century. It was whilst gaining experience working on the Champagne Mumm vineyards 50 years ago that Georges decided to return to his family's traditions in Bouzy. He continues to have an active interest in all aspects of the business while his sons Eric and Bruno manage the day to day working of the vineyard. As far back as the 17th Century, the region of Bouzy had acquired a reputation for the quality of its still red wines, in particular Pinot Noir. The Vesselle family aspires to, and succeeds in, preserving this tradition of producing great quality wines. |
