Domaine Le Cazal

Surrounded by an arid plateau & restricted to the south by a deep canyon, the Domaine Le Cazal is perched on the top of the hill which overhangs the Minervois slopes at the Southern tip of the Herault. It is on this chalky-clayey & stoney land that the Derroja family have worked, since 1870, on their 18 hectares of vineyard which is classified as 100% AOC Minervois. Tradition & passion, together with contemporary concepts, are combined to produce the red wines, of which the principal denominators are: finesse, smoothness, powerful, aromatic complexity, range of spices and small red fruits.
