Situated in the heart of Ribeauville, Alsace, in a former seigniorial residencedating from 1416. Owned by Jean-Jacques Sipp, a winegrower since 1973, this family owned domaine is now assured of a successor since Jean-Jacques' son Jean-Guillaume began working on the estate following completion of his training and work experience with numerous wine-growers around the world. Domaine Jean Sipp has 50 plots of land on the territory of five different villages growing seven Alsatian grape varieties covering a total area of 23 hectares. The appellations include 'Alsace' and 'Alsace Grand Cru'. The quality and diversity of these wines coupled with Jean-Jacques' philosophy of respecting the grape and using organic methods are immediately evident. |
